This shouldn't happen! Did the board feel soft? Could be somebody was heavy handed with the sanding and weakened the board? Could you see the cloth weave? Problem is though, surfboards ARE made to be broken.....just not this quick! Still I would hope a big company like fourth/msw do the right thing and give you another one.

Well the board did feel soft to me. They say its normal.

But there was a really rough patch of about 2" on a couple of the channels, felt like the cloth was a bit proud. The brake went right through the rough bit. Its now a difficult one to show because the glass is mangled around it.

I hope they do the right thing too.

:? In the shoredump - that's exactly where boards break.

Not saying that there isnt something wrong with it, but if I was the guys in the shop I'd also be making real sure that there was a fault in the board, and it hadnt just been snapped by someone surfing into the sand.

be persitsnt and keep pushing - this happened to my circle one after a year it had had very little use but circle one gave me a £100 off my next board

didnt buy one thow coz once damagd you tend not to try there products again
