Ok Newportlongboard is a comfort zone advisory especially for point breaks and reef, observe watch and consider, is the breaking of the wave consistent with what you could handle if it was a beach break , point breaks you can often paddle around the outside of the break to get out, similarly reef breaks often leave an easier way out. If the answer is yes and you can handle being in a queue for the take off which will be mostly in the same spot. Do it
put your heart in your mouth and go out. Take your time expand your comfort zone by clear and easy increments, a little fear and excitement breeds improvement.
