FCS Fins - loose

Postby Johno » Thu Oct 28, 2010 8:53 am

Hi all just bought some new Rator R7 fins (FCS fin box) but when I have fitted them to my bord they are slightly loose than any other FCS fins i have tryed.

The tab thickeness measures 6mm and on a FCS 6.5mm it seams that when i tighten the grub screws the fins still have a small amount of play in them.

Is this somthing i should fix / send the fins back or is it normal? i would hate to throw one (lose one) when i was surfing

any advise would be appreciated :)

Arghh don't be telling me that I've just bought the Raptor R9's. They haven't arrived yet but I'll let you know if mine fit better! Hope this isn't another crap product entering the surf market!!!!

Doesn't sound right to me. Definately query it and ask them if they say its normal, will they replace them if they come out?

Got my fins and guess what loose!! Left side fin was fine then I tried the centre fin and it was loose length and width ways!!! The right side fin also has a nick out of it! Definitely NOT a quality product, sending them back for a refund and getting a set of M7's.

Man you gotta send em back, don't accept a product that isn't fit for purpose! That'll add to the company's 'another satisfied customer' statistics, when you're clearly NOT!
