well, i dont even surf yet and i got my board from a friend BUT im going to start soon so any tips people can give me on waxing, what a grom is :oops: and stuff... :D oh and is a 6ft board to short for beginners? im 5'6/5'7 so yeh.... help out puh-leez!

a 6 foot board is wayy too short if your a beginner... a grom is a young surfer.. and for waxing check the site 'surf wax' .. the video will show u how to wax ur board -

Ya, it would be A LOT easier to learn on a longboard, but you could learn on a 6'. Itd be alot harder and take longer to learn, but it can be done.
waxing is easy, just rub the wax on in circles over your board.

yea or you can apply is horizontally than vertically, or diagonally one way then diagonally the other... as long as you create the bumps youre good... i usually do it all... vertically and horizontal, than diagonal, than finish of with the circular motion haha -
