Degree33 Surfboards Review

Postby CAsurfwise » Wed Jul 28, 2010 4:50 pm

I was thinking about purchasing a Degree33 Surfboard and was wondering if anybody has any experience with this brand. Are they made in China? What is the quality like?

I don't know much about them personally, but if you do a google search on them, you'll see a wide range of opinions ranging from those boards are the greatest thing since sliced bread and Degree 33 is an incredible progressive surfboard company to they are a rip off store selling overpriced pop outs. You an always try a local shaper. If you call around, I'm sure you'll get some pretty competitive quotes.

ive check out these boards before started out being made by a couple guys in a one room apartment they wanted to make boards that werent expensive. they desided this when they moved to lower cali., they looked around and saw only used boards were around 300-500 and so they got together with some board shapers and designed their own, new boards run around $300-$500 and if u dont like them they buy the board back from you.they also sell used boards. nice company the guy does all kinds of boards.

My buddy said these are made in China and are popouts. How do they make them in Cali for so cheap and stay in business? I'm a little suspect.
