Online or In-Store Purchase???

Hi Everyone,

Would you buy your car rack online either from Yakima or Thule? OR rather perfer to buy it in a store???
Im trying to figure out if i should just buy it online or in a store. I have checked several online stores including Sun & ski SPORTS, Dick sporting goods , sports authority ( i couldn't find any car racks on the website!) that i found out through Thule but they don't have all the stuff i need. So if you did buy online did you have any trouble with your order or getting some parts banged up??? Im thinking on buying right from yakima or thule . Any advice or suggestions????

Buying on-line or the old fashioned mail order requires the buyer to know what he/she is buying. When I don't have any experience with something I want to buy, I go to several stores. I learn things and determine which store will help me the most.

Sure, I'd buy a Yakama or Thule roof rack on-line, but then again, I've had a Thule rack for years and even began using roof racks before Thule and Yakama existed. My first racks were purchased in Sears more than 30 years ago.
