y0 I surfed at Torquay (oz) on Friday (yesterday) and it was choppy and high-tide. Because I am a beginner, I had a very hard time trying to get past the shoaling water to where the waves were a bit more smooth etc. Also I have about a 2 hour return bus-journey to get to the beach, with one bus change on the way. I have been dire for more than twenty-four hours. *drinks seventh cup of green tea*

Surfed rockpils and inbetweens this morning. South shore Oahu. Swell hasnt really picked up yet. It was waist to chest high. Real clean though. Should be overhead tomorrow and Friday and I have both days off!

surfed manly beach, sydney yesterday. 4-6'' offshore, beautiful... got some nice rides, saw some huge standup tubes, got a sneaky few myself .. headin' back out today, not sure if I should take my 6'2'' or my 5'6'' rocket.. surfed on my 6'2'' yesterday and it felt like a boooaaaattt!! I've been surfing my little 5'6' rocket so much lately that my shortboard feels like a damn longboard!

Went surfing at Newgale pembs yesterday...good waves! not much surfing from me as it was my first time.

Been trying to get used to my shortboard, stood up today for first time and was awesome the feeling I got! The swell was small here though so hopefully in bigger surf like we should have on weekend I'll be able to stand better just sooo stoked at moment

last friday i went to folly, swells were between 4 and 6 but super choppy and pushing almost straight to the pier. paddle out for 10 minutes to catch about 5 sec ride, 8 if your lucky. at the end of the day i was exhausted and only caught like 3 or 4 solid rides but it was a good experience for a beginner like myself, didnt take any pics

Last sunday morning surfed at porthcawl, the waves were 4 to 5ft but very messy! it was really hard work getting out there. After 2 hours I was exausted.

Surfed Porthcawl yesterday, was a good day with 4-5ft 9second clean waves. Im still learning but started seeing some progress in myself yesterday!!! I was getting up on my board alot more! I just need to stay on it a bit longer now! lol
