Webber pulse/fatburner or Firewire Dominator?

Postby cheval_fou101 » Wed May 19, 2010 2:55 pm

Hey guys, thinking of getting a 6'6" board for smaller waves. I've chosen between the webber pulse/fatburner or the firewire dominator. Can anyone give me some feedback on these boards because I am torn between both of them. I'm about 85 Kilos and probably on the lower end of the intermediate scale. Cheers! :D

Get the dominator, for a couple of reasons:

1) The firewires have great re-sale value, the webbers don't, in case you don't like it.

2) The firewires are actually more durable than the webber, especially since the webbers use only 1 layer or 4oz cloth on the bottom, more dings and more chances to snap it.

One draw back, the webber will be WAY easier to ride, the firewire being so light and springy will take more gettng used to, but once you master it you will be ripping.

thanks for the advice. Will definitely keep it in mind. Doesn't help that the dominator is such a good looking board too.

Hello Guys,
Depends also on your use for the board, the Webber is fiber glass and would easily get dings, if you are not yet respecting your board as it should be to keep it safe or you are planning some trips, go for the firewire that will not get dinged as easily as a fiber glass board.
