Spray Painting Boards

so i have a fairly old fish/shortboard that is looking a bit tired, and i want to spray paint it and make it a little more pleasing to the eye. what kind of spray paints do i use for this kind of job? nothing pro looking, just something that will go on and not come off super easy that i can pick up in a local diy store or whatever?
