HELP...Polyester resin repair on epoxy board

Postby lindenbergh » Wed Apr 28, 2010 11:37 am

Hi,
I just bought my first board, a circle one epoxy board. I bought it from ebay and it had a small ding. I went to a friend to help me fix this however he used polyester resin. and it has dissolved some of the foam. We cleaned it out as best as we could but what I would like to know is whether the foam will continue to dissolve or whether it will stop. Your responses would be greatly appreciated as I'm concerned about the health of my new investment!!

Many thanks in advance

Once the resin has cured which it should have done by now it will stop eating away at the foam.
