Newbies

Postby gnjd_85 » Sun Mar 28, 2010 12:14 pm

Me and a friend of mine have found ourselves
with a couple of spare weeks and were talking
about how we've always fancied surfing so we
just started pondering a drive down to the south west
to give it a spin for a few days, is that a sensible
plan at this time of year? And if so are there any places
we should head for or avoid?

Also any ideas on how much we'd need to be paying?
Neither of us know anything about surfing so I guess
we'd need lessons and board/wetsuit hire etc if we do it.

Any words of wisdom appreciated...

Comment: "drive down to the south west"

Response: The southwest? What like Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and southern Colorado? Not much surf there any time of year.
