Board from Newcastle to Heathrow any ideas??

Hello Everyone,

I'm very new to surfing, I have a 7'9" Mini Mal which I love! I'm off to Oz later this year and would like to take her with me....
However after reading some of the forums and a brief phone call I've realised British Airways are not exactly "Board Friendly"
Anyone got any tips on how to get her from Newcastle to Heathrow in time for my connecting flight to Singapore??
