Hey guys sorry for yet another new board questuion but couldnt find anyone with my weight etc!

I have been surfing a 7'10 funboard for a while - catching green waves ok

Looking at moving to a shortboard and a bit unsure of the dimensions i should be looking at...

I am 6'2" and about 80kg's

Any advice much appreciated.

Tanks in advance

I would get a 6' 7" x 19 5/8 x 2 9/16 Squash Tail. It would be perfect

if you feel like thats a little bit too big, or you are more advanced you woudl say, i wouuld go with a 6' 4" x 18 5/8 x 2 3/8 Squash Tail. Thats if you hit the lip and do snaps and such. the other dimension(teh first one) would give you all performance with the bset dimensions for you to advance quickly from learning.

Thankyou very much...certainly not at the stage of hitting the lip etc so the first one sounds perfect
