Best places in FL for surf, work, and nightlife?

Postby RichD14 » Fri Jan 22, 2010 10:38 pm

Ok I'm basically thinking the east coast of Florida, Jupiter or north somewhere there's got to be some place with a younger population(20-30) with some nightlife and some kind of economy. I used to love surfing Satellite beach, Cocoa beach, Sebastion Inlet ect, does anyone have ANY input on any good areas for young poeple out of college looking to surf/party/work? How does Jupitor compare to the rest of central Florida?

I would think that West Palm, fairly close to Jupitaer, is probably your best bet. It's predominantly upper-middle class, its close enough to Miami to have the nightlife vibe, yet far enough that you don't get the crowd.

I've surfed in Cocoa, and it's nice, but I don't know about living there. From the few times I've been there, it felt a little touristy.

I live right now in Jacksonville, and I surf in Jax Beach and St. Augustine. A lot of single men and women that I've met who have moved to Jax from somewhere else hate it because it's "boring", but most of the ones with families that relocated here love it. So that gives you an idea of what kind of town this is.
