Heading to Cancun Next week

I'm going to be in Cancun from 12/3 - 12/14. Anyone know if the Surfing will be any good? I know the storm season is pretty wrapped up but, I'm hoping there will at least be a little.

I'm staying at the Ritz with the Fam so I'll probably be tied down to the resort while I'm there however I'm hoping to get out a bit.

When your back in Cancun Check out Playa Chac Mool and/or Playa Delphines. Those are the best surf spots in Cancun....dont tell the locals i told you. haha , Actually the locals here are very nice! You can rent surf boards or get surf lessons at http://www.surfingcancun.com.mx
They will deliver the surf equipment directly to you hotel and pick it up when you are done with it. Whats good about this is when the surf is small you can switch up your equipment for a longboard and grab a shortboard when the waves pick up. Big or Small surfing cancun is super fun.

I love Yucatan! Unfortunately my previous trip to the state was before I have became a surf junkie.
I didn;t even realise Cancun had any surf? Won't the barrier reef block most of the swell?

I would LOVE to check out the breaks when I go next.
