whats the difference between a modern fish/hybrid to a regular fish? does it work well on hollow waves? btw it`s a thruster

Its a Hyrbid. A Hybrid has the turning smoothness of a fish, wave catchabillity, and the glide of a fish, but the performance of a shortboard. I wish i would have bought a hybrid instead of just a fish. The wideness on the top makes it stable and catch waves easier because of more surface area between your board and the wave, and the tail allows the water to exit smoothly. you can still rip with it though. The hybrid in my opnion is the best board someone could buy.

Something you should try that i try on mine, is to take out the middle fin. Your speed goes up soo much beacuse of no drag from the middle.
WHat are teh demensions and how much do you weigh?

i dont know the exact dimension but it looks exactly the same of the board in the picture, its a 5`8.
first i thought it was a fish and i was so stoked and got to the beach..while i was surfing it was soooo much easier to catch waves, and the board worked very well while i stood up,getting speed with less work than my old shortboard, and i still could do the same maneuvers.

but naniekso,if i take the middle fin, the board will lose stability?

yeah it does but most of the time i find its not needed unless your surfing above shoulder high. the way it moves around is crazy too. very loose. very responsive, you might like it more. try it sometime in the same session and see if you like it
