Latex allergy ????

Hi,
Want to get some feed back on a subject from fellow surfers. About 3 weeks ago I started itching like crazy about 2 or 3 hours after removing my 3/4 ripcurl suit same suit I used for months. It never went away but got worse and started weeping (oozing). The general Doc treated it like a fungal infection with little resolve. On the last visit they said it was Scabies and gave me lotion. It is confined to my lower buttocks and back. My thought is that a latex allergy would have me itching all over. Any one out there ever had a similar experience ??? I'm in misery and heading to see the dermatologist tomorrow. spincat...

my girl is allergic to latex...which works out to no condoms. works out well. aaw shiit. 2 more weeks till i go surfing... whoot! take care, best of luck my friend!

It sucks doesnt it! I have been sufering the same for the last 2 years but only on my hands and feet, Terns out after loads of tests that I am elegike to some chmical in the neopren.

Difrernt parts of ya body can react to diffrent alergise.

Search the forum for surfers foot, and you will find all the post,

A companey called Patigoine do a suite lined with marino wool and check out fourth element they do non elergike reaction suits.

If you get any answers to this prioblem give me a email coz its been runing my winter surfing.

I have been puting plastic bags on my feet then a boot not very comfy but its better than red itchy scaley craked feet.

I too thoght I had some mad fungle infection spent a fortune on foot products but i am conclded it is somthing in the rubber.

My guss is his new supper strectchy neoren is doing the damage coz when this came out my feet and hands started going bad.
