Is longboarding good practise for surfing

Postby corn » Mon Nov 09, 2009 5:16 pm

Hi
I live in essex so only enjoy surfing and skimboarding 4 times a year during holidays. Is longboarding similar to surfing and is it easy to do and carve? Also what boards that are cheap and available in the uk are good to buy?

Cheers

Hopefully, Essex_sucks will post a reply to you soon. In the meantime, peruse the surfing waves on-line shop .. here's a couple of bargains to start with ....

Long boarding and short boarding are completely different until you get used to switching between them - as in COMPLETELY different.

Master one then go for the other grasshopper ….. Enjoy !
