T. Patterson Pill vs. Biscuit vs. Pod vs. Infinity 5F

Postby ridinmytoobs » Fri Oct 30, 2009 9:03 pm

Hey guys,

I'm in the market for a new board and I think I want to go in the direction of the aforementioned boards. Does anybody have any experience to share with any of the above boards? Reviews? If you could mention your height/weight and the size you ride that would be awesome too. I'm 5'9" 155-160lbs and have been surfing for about 4 years in Southern CA. I am thinking of getting a 5'6" or 5'8".

Any help would be appreciated, cheers!

I don't own any of those, but just looking at the specs I lean more towards the pill or the biscuit. If you follow my threads, I just got some rounded tail fishes and like them way better than swallow tail fishesMy shaper made himself a 5'3" shortboard based on the biscuit and it's now his favortie board. In case you need more specs, also google the Rusty Toad and the CI Gremlin, both rouned tail stubby performers.

Good luck, sounds like you are headed for some fun no matter what you choose.

LOL, I forgot, the pod is the production model of the board he wanted to call the gremlin and was also called the "Deep Six" design.

Also, many local shapers are picking up on the design, so if not sure what to get have a local guy make you one to your needs, the all keep up on surfboard design these days.
