Where could this be?

Postby grkpfl » Sun Oct 18, 2009 1:37 am

Hello!

I'm actually not a surfer, but no idea whom else I should ask this....

Image
Where can I find shores like this?

I love to swim in big waves, maybe not *that* big like in the picture, but you know, pretty big.
And that's why the waves should be at the shore, not somewhere 100 miles out ;)
So where are places with big shorebreaks?

Thank you,
George

Is "shorebreak" a slang term for cans?

with shorebreak I mean big waves that break on the shore..
well I've heard that there are big waves at tahiti for example, but actually at tahiti when you go to the beach the waves are as big as in a bathtub, with some couples hanging out in overwater bungalows.. you would have to go some miles out with a boat in order to find some big waves, right?
And that's exactly what I do NOT want, I want some big waves directly on the beach like in the pic above.

Please tell me where, thank you sirs

If you went out for a swim at this break you would be in all the surfers way and not very popular, unless you are a very accomplished bodysurfer. Spots like this are very dangerous, rip tides shallow coral reefs and angry surfers, not to mention the big waves.
Do a google search for body surfing spots you'll have more success than asking surfers where the good waves are.

ohhh, yes I didn't know, I guess surfer-fags need some space between the wave and the sand? otherwise they would hit the sand when riding the wave in the picture, lol!
ok I'm going to looking for some bodysurfingfaggot forum, any suggestions?

thank you guise!

I was actually up to go to some place like maldives or fiji or seychelles, but I'm afraid that I will arrive and find a sea that is calm like a lake..

My first question is what wave? I mean honestly don't tell me your looking for the wave or the scenery on the sands....

Second - Why come to a surfing forum for your first post to ask this question? 'Cause we might know and will share the information to someone who is not a surfer anyways so they can SWIM during tides. I know plenty of surfers who are also body surfers when the waves are dead. They love it and swear by it; but seriously... why post this.. unless your trolling or seriously don't know... haven't you seen the epic movie surf ninjas.. surfers get crazy :ninja: Ninja crazy...

Third - I could care less about the waves here... who are the girls.. got more pictures? No serious....

I can't stand other 'surfer dickholes' being around too, but hey where there are good waves there are usually surfers. So suck it up and get run over!

it is bournemouth, the reef is finished and the first waves have arrived. Its an amazing sucess that will be the new center of the planet for surfing. The sucess and picture are shown at this link. huge sucess as reported. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... nwall.html

this will give you some confidence in the expected quality of wave that might be expected. volumes 1 ,2 and 3 are worth finding and reading as well. Umm have you noticed that its October already? maggie mai?
