help with resin

Postby dmartin » Mon Oct 19, 2009 2:26 pm

hi guys,
ive just got this old rozo 7'2 board off a friend of mine, but it needs some work on it.. lots of delamination and stuff. i was wondering if anyone knew how to determine weather its an epoxy or polyester board so i know which resin to use? are there any tell tale signs.. or ways of finding out?

any help appreciated!

If its old and delaminated, its a polyester.

Hey, buy some cheap nail varnish remover, pull a bit of foam out and see if the remover dissolves it. The remover contains acetone that will dissolve Poly board foams.
