Fixing Matrix Longboard

So I have 1 bad ding on the rail of the board, it resulted in a hold in the glass about the size of a pencil eraser, and a really bad crack in the tail of the board, its so bad the glass is coming off a bit, like a hang-nail, both go down to the foam, any ideas on how to repair? can I fill the hole with wax? or maybe epoxy glue? and for the crack maybe something else...some kind of tape? or I could cut out the shard of glass coming off and cover with something? I'm a pretty new surfer so some good advice would definately be a help.
