East Coast water quality

Postby Johno » Tue Sep 08, 2009 11:15 am

A question for all those east coasters went scarbrough sat / sun and on moday had the squerts! also the dog had the squrs and craped all over me girl friends new carpet, could this av been from the water round the east coast?

Some guy at work said today that it was on Panaram about how bad the water qualilty is in the north sea, Is this why you see more people on the east wearing ear plugs than any were else?

I love the waves but the brown water is :spew:

gotcha mate,

How did you find it?

saturday was a thrill for me as it was the biggest i had been outback in .....was full of nervous energy about trying to catch waves like that on my longboard...tried and had some ace dramatic falls, but loved it all the same.

sunday was more like my preferred conditions but some how i just wasnt "on", i couldn't find my groove all day and even tho i was in the water for four hours, i had some waves that a few months ago i would probably have been dandy with, but i have been progressing ok and i just didnt feel i was in the right zone..i seemed to miss too many waves or fall out of them.

how was your sesh?

give me a pm if your coming up (if you can deal with a friendly but mediocre long boarder in tow)

Water quality is way better than it used to be.

Was in at pumphouse dawn saturday at Cayton just me and a mate for an hour till another guy paddled out. Was a decent size.

Pic taken by surf shop so guy duckdiving or the one caught inside is me, my mate or the other guy

Image

Had a break and surfed northbay later at similar size. Had planned to drive north but was jelly after 5hrs in.
