Longboarding improves.... everything!

Postby Beachbum » Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:28 am

So I recently broke my nose on my shortboard, and I brought out my dusty 7'3" fun board. I was having a blast catching the sets before they were even breaking, and just flying down the line. My bottom turns on a long board were solid, hand trailing in the water, and I was able to do some cutbacks after I got used to turning the elephant board around. I tried to cross-step and hang five, but I just pearled, or slipped on every try haha.

I'm not sure if I should stick to long boarding, or fix my short board now haha.

I have two longboards, use them twice a year and every time I have a blast. Longboarding is not my thing, I have shortboads and fishes for every type of wave, but I get why it's such a fun choice for many. Party on!!
