What Is longboarding?

Have any of you ever sat down and thought something like?
'Longboarding is so important to me, it means more to me than life itself '

sort of,

I now know that for all my days until my joints give up I am going to be a longboarder... not a surfer but a longboarder.

I know that the appeal of what I do relates very closely to the weight of my board, the cruise of going down the line, the way it holds in the pocket etc,

I would never switch to a skatery loose agressive shortboarding style.

longboarding is just very "me"
