Hi guys, would this be a good startin point?

Postby Jimmer » Wed Jul 15, 2009 6:53 pm

Hi guys, whats the craic? I got introduced to surfing yesterday and decided to get myself a wetsuit and a board and have a go at it. Mainly to get me out of the bars and into something other than mountain biking! I have spied this board and wondered what yous would think about it? I would like a good board to start on but also one that will last for a good while. Whats everyones opinions?

Whats your height and weight?

Assuming you're reasonably average, thats about the right size and kind of board.
If you're tall or heavy, then a bit longer might be sensible to start out with.

welcome Jimmer

its about time somebody came to us with a question about a board they might actually be able to learn on.

That looks a very sensible size and shape for learning on. looks in good condition too.

That board will be fine for your height and weight.
