No.

Or, at least, almost certainly not.
Unless by chance you have a fishy type board with two big outter fins that you can ride as a twinny, it wont work without a centre fin. It'll be wobbly as anything, lack drive, and be almost impossible to turn properly.

Obviously you can go out there and play with it without a fin (we've all done it...) but, no, you wont be able to properly surf without it.

Gee, I seem to recall from surfing history class that people once used boards that had no fins and it their actions were classified as proper surfing. I'm kidding around. Just go do it. Who cares? It is far better to be in the water than watching it from the shore.

It will work for sure.....just will lack some of the drive you are used to.

Have you seen Jamie O' surf small pipe with no fins....or Beaker surf Teheapoo on a skim board!!

Surely the skim board is easier to surf without fins than a surfboard because it will have sharper rails so it will kind of be like riding a snowboard in powder (only harder and scarier). Taking nothing away from Beaker that is incredible.

Wy wife lost a centre fin of a hire plank just the other week when we were on holiday and i could still surf the board and i'm xxxxx.
