Were you wearing non water proof suncream? I find the wrong suncream can run and cause havoc, ordinarily i don't suffer with this problem.

higher salt in the tropics has had my eyes burning...but they adjust to the burn pretty quick. best tip was to check the sunscreen.....or a scuba mask!!

A friend of mine suffers really badly with stinging eyes when surfing, he resorted to wearing swimming goggles for a while, but looked like a total goon.

Saw some new style goggles recently that could pass for sun glasses. I'll try and find the name and post it here.

Now, this is what I dont like. My boyfriend has very light sensitive eyes, even the eye doc said so - he's not being a drama queen like I first thought  . His eyes are quite screwed after surfing on a sunny day, red, sore and his vision isnt so great. So, the question of goggles came up and the question of looking like an idiot in the line up! Mr pipeline (gerry lopez?) wears them in the endless summer 2 but they feel the need to justify it in the film - "oh he surfs 11 hours a day"...blah blah blah.

fleshin' being cool - going blind for the sake of vanity isnt cool!

(that said, I dont like Mr Sar having surf stickers on his car because its 'uncool'. Discussions followed, ' I dont give a xxxxx Sar, I like and want them' - now that's 'cool'! 8) muchos respect! )
