Which board?? Small surf

Postby ChrisDallat » Tue May 19, 2009 10:39 pm

Basically just a quick, which board.
6'0, 159lbs, for 2-3 maybe 4ft summer surf, southwest france, nothing mad steep or barreling, just fun small waves. So its either the slayer fish or the twin fin. just looking for relatively easy paddled board for small surf but still good fun to rip around the face.

6'0 X 20 X 2 1/2, slayer fish (shortboard/fish mix)

6'4 dont know the other specs but i would assume its about 19 1/4 X 2 1/4, except twin fin)

I'll be picking one of these up this week so any input would be great,

I'd get a Christiaan Bradley, the C8 or Devil or Ghetto models for small surf. Or a CI Flyer or Whip. Or a Simon Anderson Interceptor or S4 or Mollusc. Or a Mark Phipps Mark IV model. All these boards are shaped locally in Hossegor (France) by really good shapers, are available off the rack new and used, and are made for summer beach breaks in SW France. Cheers.
