Delamination ?

Postby kcaffee » Sat May 23, 2009 1:30 am

What's up everyone! I just got a quick question, obviously pertaining to delamination. Will a stored board delaminate over time on its own, or is it usually caused by heat, dings, and other damage? There are quite a few boards I would like to pick up for now and the future (especially with today's economy and the vast amount of great boards on the used market) but I would hate to build a large quiver and have them fall apart on me before I've really got the chance to use them.

Thanks

They'll only delaminate over time if they've got water in them, or if you leave them to roast in the sun.

They'll be fine for years otherwise.

I have never seen a 'board delaminate just because of time.
