Whaterver you do, dont EVEN try to relay any bit of usefull travel information in this forum if it somehow recommends a surf camp, boat charter co, or surf travel company that is not connected to this forums parent site "Surfing-Waves".

The information that will be allowed to stay on this forum has been picked through by Surfing-Waves administrators and if it seems to be competetive with a tour/package or destination that they sell, you won't see it for long becuase they will delete it.

Just a word of advice, the "surfing travel tips and advice" section, as well as anything else on this site, have one goal in mind, to take advantage of the newbie and anyone else naive enough to continue posting here.

Try the forum at Pacific Waverider for a more honest look at things.

Hey Paps' I suppose that was pretty blatant. Was just trying to get the message across, and save some Indo travelers a few bucks, which is what I thought this message board was about.

It wasn't until I saw that my second post had been deleted that I realized that I must be breaking a "rule".

But we both know that what I said is in fact kinda true.

real life travel tips

Postby droopy » Mon Mar 07, 2005 3:48 pm

First thing to remember is never admit to being American. Canadian is the best cover. You will never understand how faraway from home you are or how stupid the rest of the world thinks Americans are until you step off the plane or paddle out and lock eyes with that third world local who will ding your board if he can't steal it. Wherever you go, be ready to be charged higher prices for little or no service, given wrong directions, taken to the worst places, and all done with a bright third world smile,"Just for my American
friend"

hey buddy, first of all Americans are not stupid. Our country does a lot for many other countries. Secondly, if the little local gook tries to ding my board or steal it, ill be very pissed.
have a nice day buddy
