Why don't you start it off by giving us some information about yourself?

I live on the coast of North Carolina. Pretty small and weak surf most of the time so I have 6'4 WRV swallowtail, a 7'2 shaped by a local guy, 9'0 Stewart for the real small days and I am looking to get a 6' retro fish.
Anyone have any opinions on good fish shapers?

twerked,
Hey I appreciate the info, I will look into that. The 7'2 is shaped by green room surfboards, Jimmy Keith is the shaper

I preety much just go to my shaper and tell him what to make me, or copy me. He's copied me a Kane Garden Quad Fish and a Xanadu Rocky fishie board, both with slight variations for my specifications.
Here are my fishes, current and past, all from the same shaper:

I've got a 7'4 mini-mal / fatboy flyer mutant thing by Kym Thompson:

And a 6'6 gulfstream shortboard:

As for where, it depends how long I've got!

Day trip = Kimmeridge bay / Porthcawl / Witterings
two days = Saunton / Croyde / Woolacombe /bude
three day + = Cornwall. Normally Gwithian / Sennen / Gwenvor area.

Although I try to get out to the Canaries a couple of times a year, the surf there is EPIC!
