i got a problem

i am almost 14 and i surf for 3 almost 4 years... i dont have my own surboard and i want to buy one. the only protblem is that i am scared its will be a waist of money evryone tell me that i dont know how to surf on a shortboard and i thought if i wont buy one to try i will never learn to surf on a shortboard. do i should buy one or not its not to excpensive
do you guys think i should buy a shortboard or not?

Can you not borrow one to have a go? if you do that a few times then you'll get an idea of what it's like and be more confident in the decision you make.
What do you surf on just now?

thank you but last year i almost buy a spider surfboar second hand of yoni yadid and they let me barrow it for 2 lessons. i wanted to buy it and somone else bought it so this time im not sure they let me borrow one again beacuse they didnt let anyone except me.
i'll ask theme tomarrow and see what they say if they say no do i should buy it?

lol now im surfing on borrow board somtimes sunset dragon-board and one half short boad its look the same but its havier lol

You've obviously been thinking about it for some time. No one can really tell you to buy a board or not, it really depends on your circumstances and if you've got the spare cash. I'm not an expert on different makes of boards so I can't tell you if it's a good one and if you're getting it for a good price.

the board its a spider fist hand size 6.2 white and it coast somthing like 400 dollars i buy it in israeli shekel in 1600... so its to excpencive or not and i do have some spar money...

Do you know that you can buy used boards? And you can also re-sell your boards if you're ready to switch size.

yeahhh you right but all the second hand board are 12000 shekel and its almost the same pricew and they are too small i needd a large one...
