Knee rash

Postby windswell » Tue Mar 10, 2009 11:13 am

Hi guys

just wondering if a rash on the knee is an indicator of bad pop up technique or not.
When surfing in boardshorts I get a rash on my right knee (goofy footer) and I can not find
a reason for that.I do not use my knees popping up so I do not know why this happens.
In winter with the wetsuit, no problem. But I I do get a bit of wax on the knee pad.Sign of a bad technique
or not?

Any thoughts?
Thanx :)

not really due to a bad pop up. most people get this from paddling and popping up and more so if you have a tail pad on.

usually I get wax on my knee when I'm duck diving. I use my knee when it's not too bad, or my foot when I need to go deeper... maybe this explains it?
