Can you guys recommend any good ones? I haven't seen any apart from Point Break and am getting a bit tired of it now hehe.

thanks!

Depends what you like really, but a few of my favourites:

All the old Bruce Brown ones, Endless Summer etc
Morning of the Earth
Crystal Voyager
Litmus
Shelter
Five Summer Stories
The Seedling

Some of the early 90's Chris Bystrom longboarding films are quite cool too, things like Blazing Longboards etc.

Some totally cheesey 80's films like Mad Wax and Water Slaughter are cool too, and Surfers the Movie is another favourite.

All kind of soulful stuff. Can't handle all that thrashy loud music rubbish that a lot of the big surf co's release.

I think there's a company called Black Diamond that sell a lot of those films.

As far as proper movies with a story, North Shore is hilarious for the cameos from Occy and Robbie Paige, and terrible continuity, Big Wednesday is pretty cool, and probably the best bit of surfing meets Hollywood ever is the bit with Col. Kilgore in Apocalypse now, with the helicopters etc.

I watched Busting Down the Door a couple of weeks ago, which was pretty interesting, though not loaded up with loads of surfing footage, it was a bit like Z-Boys but about surfing.

forgot about 'surfs up.' it's just a fun movie. and the fact kelly slater and rob machado are in it adds points. and the fact i think they had kelly and other surfers advise the animators on how the water should look and what it should look like for in the tube 'shots' and such. that's just what i heard, not sure if it's true or not. either way they did do a great job with it. and the dude is in it too

Sipping Jetstreams, Billabong Trilogy, Stranger than Fiction. Just seen Out There, it's ok, worth a view. Haven't got round to looking at DudeCruise, I'll update the post when I do. I also have to see Lines from a Poem which I got free.

Edit - just watched DudeCruise...it's not bad. It would be better if it was a bit longer, it's only 25 mins long!
