What hope is there having a discussion with you if you can't even read properly.

I said DEATHS from skin cancer, not diagnosed cases. .. there's a big difference.

You're the only one saying that skin cancer is linked to toxins in sunblock, therefore it is your theory on this forum.

Not true, there are many people who are aware of the carcinogenic properties of commercial sunblock.

Toxicologist and Associate Professor Peter Dingle recommends we avoid sunscreens with the following chemicals.

Some of the more toxic sunscreen ingredients include:

Avobenzone, Parsol 1789 (butyl methoxy dibenzoylmethane)
Benzophenones
Cinoxate (2-ethoxy ethyl p-methoxycinnamate)
Dibenzoylmethanes
Escalol 506 (amyl dimethyl para aminobenzoate)
Escalol 507 (octyl dimethyl para-aminobenzoate)
Ethoxy ethyl-p-methoxy cinamate (Giv-Tan F)
Eusolex 8020 (isopropyl dibenzoyl methane)
Homosalate
Hydroxy methoxy methylbenzophenone (mexenone)
Menadione
Methyl sinapate (methyl 3,5-dimethoxy 4- hydroxycinnamate)
Octocrylene
Octyl salicylate
Octyl-methoxycinnamate (OMC)
Oxybenzone (benzophenone 3)
PABA (para-aminobenzoic acid)
Padimate A (amyl para-dimethylaminobenzoate)
Padimate O PBSA (2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid)
Psolaren
Titanium dioxide

He recommended sunscreens with natural ingredients, typically:

Zinc dioxide, Vitamin E, plant-based oil, Green tea extract.

The Cancer Council does not endorse Peter's opinion, nor does the Therapeutic Goods Administration.

The Cancer Council however now sell ‘Natural Sunscreen’ free of chemical sun blockers, fragrance free and is low irritant.

you confirm in an earlier statement that sunblock gives you cancer, then deny it later on.

No I don't

To say that anything with chemicals in it is a "vile concoction" is a gross assumption and to compare sunblock to a herbicide is laughable.

I didn't say that anything with chemicals in it is a 'vile concoction'. . . . . your reading comprehension skills are lacking, try reporting what I actually said !

Whether your argument is true or not is irrelevant as you obviously don't understand what you're talking about.

In fact the truth content of the argument is of vital importance in relation to skin cancer.

I understand what I'm talking about, your confusion regarding my posts is clearly due to your poor reading comprehension and llogic skills. . . you keep misquoting me and then using misquotes as 'evidence' that I don't know what I'm talking about.

The cheapest form of arguing is to pick holes in what other people say and not their actual argument and I could do that all day to yours!
I really hope that one link you posted isn't the whole basis of your argument because one opinion isn't really a sound basis for such.

Just out of interest I pulled out the first sunblock I could find, Eurohike F25, I think I got it free with something, so it's not expensive or natural. The one substance from your list in it is Benzopheneone-3, a quick google search (only going by the name as I don't have the CAS#) gives a number of different MSDSs. These range from slight irritant to skin (bearing in mind their talking about the pure substance not in a blend of 26 different one, sorry I don't have the percentage breakdown) to not harmful under normal use.

I'm still not convinced by your argument.

It makes no difference to me what you believe, I don't mind what you apply to your skin.

Regarding the art of argument, you have been misquoting me, and misquoting the data I presented, this means that you have been arguing with yourself.

Best of luck with your health !

roy this is the basis of nearly all the argments you have started on here. have you ever thought that maybe the easiest road is the best one? you dont see nature doing anything the hard way. and before you start i wont be replying if you decide to post a response to this one.
