sweet jebus he has a red camera. that setup is so expensive. the body of the base red camera, just the camera, no viewfinders, lenses, etc, is $17.5k. the video looks sick though, super crisp and everything, though i prefer the look of 8 or 16 mm film.

i'm not sure how i feel about that first video in the link. it's cool how close up the shot is, but i like seeing the wave and what it's doing down the line and how the people react and what they do and so on. interesting perspective nonetheless. it's kind of ballsy to be putting that camera in a remote controlled helicopter

It's killer phenomenal that he's doing some of that from a 3000.00 CAN (base) DSLR.
