Camping North Coast of CR

Hey,
Has anyone camped at the breaks in Pacific North of CR?
I was there last year and paid too much for some of these tours. I'd love to rent a 4x4 and just park it here and there. Can you recommend any good camp locations?

super cool place to camp and get awesome surf is Marbella. it is located about half hour from Playa Avellanas. you should have wheels to be able to get out because there is not too much for restauarants, etc there as of yet.
