Stranded! (ironically inland, UK)

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any surfers that use the London Midland line to london euston. I am just south of Milton Keynes and if you know your geography she will tell you its pretty much smack bang in the middle of the UK.
Im looking for anyone willing to take on a complete novice (I have had a 3 day course in cornwall in the Summer, which meant I was able to start catching green waves- not very well mind you). I want to start going out more now I have turned 18, I recenlty bought a winter wetsuit but no board so I would be looking for someone or a group to show me the ropes.

It boils down to"if anyone is heading from London way or is relatively easy to get to from London, can I tag along or meet up with you"
