£9000 - 8 months - Where to go?

This is all rough guidelines. Basically when im 16 im going to be working part time on £5/hour for 2 years but in holidays I will be working quite a lot. When Im 18 im going to work full time for about 4 months. Im gonna try not too spend any of the money i earn. So im hoping i will have £9000 by then, maybe a bit of help from parents if not. So then I will have 8 months left of my year off (gap year) before Uni. So basically I will have £9000 for 8 months of surf travel. I want to go to about 4 or 5 countries and I don't just want too stay in one area. Any ideas and info would be awsome.

P.S I live in UK (might affect costs for flights etc)

Depends what time of year you will be travelling. IMO you can't go far wrong with a summer in Europe, French waves, french food, french ladies and cheap booze make for a really good trip. All the usual spots like Costa Rica, Indo, Oz/NZ, S Pacific Islands are great fun.

sounds like slave labour to me mate, 9000 divided by 5... I don't even want to think about how many hours that is.

Do what I did - get involved with online business. You'll be raking it in no time
