Postby deathfrog » Sat Dec 25, 2004 5:55 pm

Did you get a new board? If ya did, what is it, let us all know. If not, did you get any other surfy items?

I had a dream that I got a tail pad and board sock, but it didn't happen...

Thanks, i got it for like 300 of ebay (shipping and all)... its only go a few pressure dings and like two small professional fixed dings,i was amazed.

I only used it like twice, and it was in really crap small powerless wave, so you really couldnt surf it. one of the first times i rode it, my board actually sunk... and for a second i was surfing under the water, then i brought it back up to the surface. But i was amazed at its manovurablity, compared to my 6'6 fish... its awsome, i cant wait till next summer ot use it.

Just bought a brand new Beach Beat 6'0" Fish. £150 from Just Add Water, the thing still had the original price tag of £350 on it!!!
Get yourselves down there dudes and dudettes, they're getting rid of all their surf hardware at v silly prices.
Also bought Rhino board bag reduced from £45 to £20.
Beach Beat leashes for £5.
O'neill gloves and hood for £10 each.
Mrs Palmers wax 49p.
Un-f-believable! :D

If youre going to get a good board I suggest getting a Eric Arakawa board or a Glen Pang board. These two have been shaping for more than 20-30 years. Arakawa shaped the board that Andy Irons rides. Im not sure on the price but they are one of the best, to me. If you want a longboard from a legend then guy a board by Ben Aipa. Theres lots of shapers on the north shore. Good luck
