Hey guys

I’m a Surfer from Sri Lanka trying to save our beaches here from our stupid public officials; I’m a lone voice at the moment but I’m trying my best to get some attention to this issue here, a lot of people don’t seem to care because the people directly affected at the moment are the poor section of our society and the haves don’t seem to understand that this devastation is eventually going to affect them as well

There are no words to explain environmental damage here either

So if you guys can pass this YouTube link around I’d really appreciate it, if you know some activist or some movements, at least the information will get around

Like I was explaining, because of the people affected are the poor people there is no press coverage what so ever, If I wasn’t riding around looking for waves, I wouldn’t have known a single thing about this issue here

it is clear your heart is in this matter. It is also clear there are some real and tragic problems.

This doesn't detract from your efforts, but I thought I'd share. The engineering term in North America for the boulders is rip rap. We use rip rap for erosion control, too, and, correctly and incorrectly at various times.

Watched all 4 reels, so I'm qualified to inform forum members about this.

dude... the vids are too big and too slow paced. if you want people to really watch it, you'd have to make it in a way that draws people attention... the entire story should have been told in the first ten minutes.

what was that anyway, they were trying to prevent against tsunamis? stupid government. this is what happens when the politicians are corrupt, and there are no resources.
