If I went with my bros to the beach with this, they would be past backline by the time I finished unpacking. :ninja:

This board has been around for quite some time now. I think its been designed for those rich city dwellers who like to have something swish to travel with and pretend that they can surf.
I think it retails at well over £1000.

i bet that will get hot eough to melt the wax off. unless you dont even need wax. pretty soon they will come up with board that paddle for you, catch wave for you. than they are gonna revolt againt the human race and surf us directly to a sharks mouth.

That is the trippiest board design I've ever seen. I can imagine it just feeling like a plank under your feet... I'm all for trying out new materials and everything, but that looks like one soul-less piece of high tech crap to me... not to mention a black hole for money.

I think it looks good... out of the water. If you held it and walked around the beach all day, that would be perfect.

Disclaimer:
But thats just my opinion. If uh... you actually do that, and you get jumped be proper surfers for spoiling the tranquility of the beach with tech wannabe rubbish... well... you get what you pay for.

Thats carbon fiber. Will be very pricey though you'll save on air freight if you fly with it all the time.

I know the folding longboards arnt to bad dunno how that one would perform.

u know the 1st pic is just the build components? It'll go together rather easily normaly.

Which part do you think would break?

This is chromo steel pipe and carbon fiber, wouldnt be suprised if it had some titanium in it too somewhere.

The Pope Bisects are very well regarded and dont seem to be fragile...

Yep CF shatters. But it takes an awfull lot of force to do so (rather than metal bending etc) and usualy it doesn if used as designed.

Why do you think half the new Airbus and Boeing are made of it? And top sportscars etc...

I've surfed a Harbour longboard that had the pope bisect treatment - it was sweet, don't know how different to a normal harbour board, but it went fine.

Loads of money though.

Well, if it was GIVEN to me... I'd put it up on my wall. Way too fragile and bling looking for something as natural as the ocean.
