Bad waves? Nz worst... (pics)

Christchurch is often slagged off in NZ for having bad waves, then Aucklanders travel 1.5hrs to get a good one...??

So heres Magnet bat (again) south facing reef left hand break that goes off quite consistently, no great pics of the break itself as I was trying out the 70-200 with 2.0tc on.

those dont look bad at all. im back in hawaii for a month, im sitting at home now suffering the heat because there are no waves higher tham my waist today, i wish we had some of those.

It's not exactly chch tho is it...but granted it's nearer than most Auckland waves.

That looks marvelous to me. Nice-ish waves in clean water. Looks like cool water temp. Can't think of anything better

its my day off and the south welsh coast is flat. i'd happily get on some of "NZ's worst" today if it looked anything like those pics mate!
