Your opinions are desperatley needed on wetsuits

Hey guys, i really need your help for my college project. I need to get a variety of opinions on wetsuits, like :

What is the most important aspect of a wetsuit for you ?
Whats the most important thing you look for when buying a wetsuit?
How important is the look of the wetsuit?
And
How much would you normally be willing to pay for a wetsuit?

No seriously, Warmth & flexibility are the main things. I'd pay £250ish for a 5/3 and £200ish for a 3/2. Although I don't have to as I work in a surf shop

We mostly sell black suits, unless u rip you don't normally want to stand out to much although I did have a guy in this summer asking for a white wetsuit. I told him we didn't have any, he then asked if we had any jet ski DVD's - I'll leave it there...

Flexibility, if you can't move around well and it's stiff there's no point i wearing it

How important is look?
no very important at all, as long as if functions well

Price?
Be willing to pay about $200-$300 us dollars for a 3/2, cant say on anything thicker as i don't need it.

important is a good fit which normally = warmth
look for a good fit
not bothered on looks. always go for the average black wettie
price isn't a problem if it lasts a couple of seasons (need one summer suit and one winter suit)

I've paid $300NZ for a winter and a summer suit, both pretty top notch, both in sales.

Unanimously !!!! Warmth factor #1, Fit and flex/stretch #2, Durability/longevity #3, looks #4 and price #5.

If it's not warm enough dosent fit right and stretch/flex enough and won't last long,,, well than why the hell would you get it????? HA HA as looks go ,,well as long as it's ot hot nipple pink or looking like a bleading seal I don't care (I'm not surfing to make a fashion statement !!) and cost,,, the best price is sombody pays me to take it next is free and so on upwards to 500.00 U.S. dollars,, keep in mind though at the high end prices that suit better damn near give me oral sex as well as keep me warm and able to move while I'm wearing it !!! If it don't last,,,, Well then I'm more than pist off !!!! As for enviroment green suits,,, cool love it but they still must fall into the 1 thru 5 catagories.

It wont keep you warm unless it fits.

Everything else is secondary.

#1..fit. i also look for stretchyness and flexability. look is basically dead last as long as it isn't goofy colours or something like that. i paid $80 for a quiksilver 3/2 the other day. that was with employee discount though. i'm gonna be getting a new 4/3 soon, booties, hood, gloves all that. i'd get the psycho II but they don't have any in my size left.

Warmth & fit. If it looks nice it's a bonus. Got a cheap psycho2 thats got red on the back, but couldn't careless really...it was a super deal!

bought a hooded 6/5/4 psycho II after my exel finally feel apart, hope its a good suit

Are you not doing C-Skins this winter?

My winter suit is now allmost completely held together by seam grip so need to invest in a new one. Got the wired 3/2 last summer. A guy wanted to part ex it for a board (he had worn it once gave him £80 ) I only had rhino suits in at the time.

Yes the Wired is our best selling suit. The Wired ride this season is pretty sik.

^ I agree with the Jack comment but believe it or not I've had decent experiences at HSS (after taking into consideration they are a big box). But yeah Frog House rocks. The parking kinda sucks though haha.

Anyway not to get off topic ... I would pay more if I knew the suit had mad flexibility. I hate transitioning from the boarshorts to the wetsuit.
