Mostly just giddy but genuine question as well

Ahoy all,

As per the title I'm really giddy with my new purchase or McTavish Fireball 9'5" - pic below hopefully :) Quick question though, does anyone have one of these already and has anyone experimented with different main fins at all? I've got a 9" squirrel on my old board which I may keep if it's likely to be any use on the FBall. Just interested tbh and I wanted to show of me new board given that there's no surf at all atm:)

Opinions welcomed as always,

Milo

Forgot to ask - give us a write up on how it handles. I'll be looking for a new longboard sometime in the not too distant future.

Review

Will do - only had chance to try it in super mushy on/cross wind so far but as soon as I get a decent sesh i'll let you know what she feels like. Initial impressions are that it's a lot faster down the line and a little looser (mid fin position) than the 9'1" Custard Point noserider I've moved on from.

Why move on from the Custard Point - thought they were pretty sound boards?

Custard Slice

Yea Grey - It was a really good board but, unfortunately, had def seen better days. Also tbh I was a little too heavy/weak paddler for it as it really didn't have much volume toward the nose or tail.

I'd recommend a Custard though but not sure if they're all still hand shaped?
