Um...okay...my name is Jacques Star, I was born in Poland, I first tryed to surf at 18, lived a year in San Diego, smoked too much herb, skated for a year and tried to surf, came back to Dallas, graduated college in D-town in '04, got back into skating in 06' went back to school on the coast of Texas at 28, with skating ability limited to basic mini-ramp and street grinds, I started surfing again...I actually took a class, can you beleive that, a class! for surfing...I had no idea that actually existed....

BECAUSE, MY MOTHER HATES SKATEBOARDING, I HAD TO HIDE, THAT'S RIGHT, HIDE MY SKATEBOARDS FROM HER, EVEN AT 26, WHEN I STARTED TO RIDE AGAIN, I HAD TO LIE, AND I LOVE SURFING AND SKATING, SO THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO THE WORLD, I WILL KEEP GOING...

...okay, this is not supposed to be an epic movie or anything, so, later...

Hi there!

my name is Beatriz, I'm from Spain. I'm currently living in California.
I made some boogie some years ago and now, taking advantage of having a work here, I'm learning to surf.

Cheers

...And years of meaningless dribble

But anyone who says such nice things is welcome here.

So a big wave to all the newbies.

hey im Ryan and im from vero beach florida on the treasure coast. 15 minutes south of Sebastian Inlet and and 15 minutes north of Fort Pierce Inlet. I am 19 and i surf every single day whether its xxxxx or not. As of the moment i ride a 5'8 CI pod with Future BlackStix FAM1 fins. The board flys down line and boost off anything. On super small days i ride a 5'10 resintinted fish shaped by Chris Birch, the fast as hell and fun. I also have a 7'0 fun shape that i take out for goof sessions and 6'6 mini gun for big days which i recently snapped in half in a heavy session during hurricane hannah.
Thats me.
happy to be here
peace

Hi everyone !

I'm Pierre, 23, from France. Been surfing for 7 years but as I live by the Mediterranean sea I am hardly an intermediate surfer. I surfed France's Southwest coast almost every summer for 2 weeks, and that's about it :? . In winter time I surf my local breaks. Surfing there is small, inconsistent, but the spots are beautiful and there is something special in the atmosphere...

I am now in Australia for one year, it is high time I surfed a decent place :D . I live in Bondi Beach, Sydney. It is awfully crowded but it is the only place I can live in since I have to work in the city...

My boards in France : 6'0 Surftech fish by Randall French, and 6'5 Pukas shortboard by Mckee. In Australia : 5'11 Shotgun ''shortboard/fish" mix, nice board so far.

I hope I have a good time on this forum, see ya !
