Ireland in December

Postby Kabazz » Sun Sep 07, 2008 2:19 pm

Looking for somewhere to go during christmas time with family where I can surf, I don't really know anything about surfing in ireland. Where would be a good place to stay and what are the chances of scoring good waves?
Cheers

Loads of spots across the west coast that will score you plenty of good rides. where is it you plan on hitting up? i usually never travel any farther than Sligo, fuel is wayyy too expensive for me.

forget the guides etc grab a good map and look for beaches breaks that suit conditions... should score some good waves that time of year. reckon sligo/donegal usually the most consistent if a bit plagued by howling onshores in winter. its usually big enough around then that the protected spots start firing.
