Peace Corps and surfing

Postby Guest » Sun Aug 17, 2008 9:41 am

Hey, I was thinking after college that I do peace corps. The only problem is that I heard you don't pick your country, that peace corps just places you in one. Is there anyway I could get to surf and do peace corps at the same time, because there is no way I can do two years and three months of no surfing.

Ya, I'd love to go to like costa rica or fiji, but I don't know what the chances are. There's no way in hell I'm doing it if I'm going to be landlocked.

I have wanted to get into the Peace Corps since I was 12, now I'm 17. Since I've learned to surf and read this thread you shed some new light on my opportunity. I will most certainly look into trying to get a place next to some waves when I get out of college.
