Well there are some used ones I found at a board shop and was wondering like I mentioned on a size thats right for me and seing if those would be ideal or if they weren't right. I don't wanna say the shop cuz I think hes got a pretty reasonable price on em. 8)

Oh yeh.. token bit of advice - buy the board. You say you've surfed longboards, so it'll take a bit of getting used to - but you'll survive. Either that, or there'll be an almost new Al Merrick Flyer on the market fairly cheap! :wink:

:D DBB you made me smile, Nate i have a flyer, well a fat boy flyer 6`8" 20" x 2-1/2" i`m 5`10" and 185 lbs, i started on a 7`3" mal. Still it took some time to get used to. But it works for me. I`d say buy a cheap short board what ever size you want and if you get on with it, then go for the go faster board. Or stick with the log. :wink:
